The International Association of Nurse Artists (IANA) is a grass-roots project started in November 2006 by professional artist and nurse, Kathy Iwanowski. The intention of the project is to connect nurses from around the world who use the arts for personal and/or professional purposes as well as those who have an interest in creativity and health. - Are you an artist and a nurse? Full Membership is $12 USD per year.
- Are you either a nurse or an artist, or want to be a supporting member? Associate Membership is $15 USD per year.
- Don't want to be a member but want to help develop the association? Become a donor.
- Arts include but are not limited to:
- dance
- music
- movement
- theater
- visual arts
- creative writing
- therapies such as art therapy, dance therapy, expressive therapy, music therapy
- Member benefits* currently include:
- Listing in Membership Directory - emailed quarterly starting March 2007.
- Invitation to International Conference - date TBA**
- Call to Artists/Performers for annual IANA event - date TBA**
* Additional services and features will be added to meet the needs of IANA members as necessary. **Events will be planned once association has enough paid members to participate.
